Jonathan Gilmore is in his third year at Life Sports Agency, currently holding the title of basketball operations manager. Jonathan plays an integral role in all aspects of the basketball branch of the agency, specializing in free agency preparations, salary cap analysis, player performance analysis, scouting, and recruitment.

Jonathan graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in economics.  During his undergraduate years, Jonathan served as a manager for the UCLA Men’s Basketball Team. In this position, he had the valuable opportunity to work in a variety of areas including assisting in the video room, taking statistics during practices and games, and helping with on-court activities. Jonathan was promoted to head manager for his senior year. As head manager, he oversaw a group of nine managers and delegated responsibilities assigned by the coaching staff.

After graduating from UCLA Jonathan spent a year working in the front office for the Charlotte Hornets, furthering his basketball operations experience. In Charlotte, he had the opportunity to work in a variety of areas including scouting, salary cap analysis, intel gathering, and contract analysis. In his time with the Hornets, Jonathan worked directly with the upper management expanding his insight into the scouting and draft prep process. His work in an NBA team’s front office coupled with his experience at a high-level college program gives Jonathan a very unique perspective into the inner workings of the basketball world.
